Celebrate Independence Day

Happy 4th of July!!!!! Today's project uses one of the new In Color card stock, Soft Suede which is the card base. The stamp set is Branch Out (again borrowed from Mom). I framed the white card stock on a chocolate chip piece of the To The Nines specialty paper. I sponged Soft Suede around the perimeter of the card, then went over it with Chocolate Chip. Then I sponged the Crushed Curry (also a new In Color) around the tree. I stamped the sentiment from the Embrace Life set on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the Scalloped Oval. I sponged Soft Suede over the whole thing and then went over it with Crushed Curry. Later today I am going to try and post some 4th of July cards but I wanted to post something just in case I get distracted by my family.

I love the new In Colors! I was very sad to see the 2008 colors retire, especially Pacific Point but I think I will be able to go on now that I have seen the new colors in real life. And with this new catalog, Stampin' UP! introduced the In Colors in the Stampin' Write markers!!! I was excited to see that and there some gorgeous designer papers. My wish list is very long....time to get to work. Thanks for stopping by!

Come and create something with me,

Andi

  1. Nice, very nice!!! Your colors and choice of stamp sets rival any card I have seen.
