Happy Friday fellow stampers! Hopefully, you are like me and have today off because the holiday falls on a Saturday....sometimes working in Corporate America does have its advantages. Today's project is a spin off of yesterday's. I just did a little more to it and I like how this one turned out. I used the Sassy Stems set and the 'hello there' is from the Goody Goody Gumdrops hostess set from the catalog that just retired. I did a couple of things different on this card. First the flowers were stamped on whisper white card stock and colored with Stampin' Write Markers and the window frame was put threw my crimper and I used the Scallop Edge punch on the sides of the window. The card base is certainly celery and I used the Scallop Edge punch on the opening side. The designer paper is from the Delicate Dots that was part of this year's sale-a-bration. You can't see it in the picture but I used my paper piercing tool on the stems of the flowers on the designer paper. The other picture I posted is something I am using for card storage. Since I have started my blog I have several cards so I was using a basket to store them but I didn't like that because the cards weren't protected. So a few weeks ago, Michaels had their photo storage boxes on sale 3/$5 which is an awesome deal because normally they are $4.99 a box..anyway I got 3 and I am using this one to store the cards I make to post on my blog. I have made the purse tins for the card storage but I don't think that they hold very many cards so I like this option better. Anyways, I will have new projects tomorrow using the new In Colors so check in with me. thanks for looking.
