I just wanted to take a moment and share with you something very tragic that happened to my family. My cousin's 3 year old son passed away on the 4th of July. I am posting this so that other parents can be extra cautious. Charlie loved the lawn mower. A few weeks ago, he was running trying to catch Daddy so he could help mow. My cousin didn't know that he was even outside. He turned the mower and clipped Charlie's foot. He was rushed to the hospital and eventually went to Children's Hospital in Omaha where the doctors examined him and decided that he would need to have part of this foot amputated. Which was done the Monday before he died. We aren't entirely sure what happened to cause his death and knowing I don't feel would bring any extra comfort but please if you are reading this and knowing any one with a child who likes the lawn mower pass on this heartbreaking story....it only takes a split second for tragedy to change your life forever. Please put my cousin and his family in your thoughts and prayers. And the next time, your little one wants some candy....let them have it in Charlie's memory. Thanks for stopping by.
Andi
